Based in the beautiful setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.
We seek applications from well-qualified graduates to teach Physics (and possibly some Chemistry and/or Biology). The applicant should be able to demonstrate a breadth of both teaching styles and academic interests.
Successful applicants will be graduates of Physics or a related subject and will have the opportunity of teaching across the year groups. A PGCE or equivalent is desirable but not essential, and no teaching experience is necessary: we welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as recent graduates and those making a change of career.
The King’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. The School will also carry out an online search of all shortlisted candidates.
Applications including a CV and Covering letter to be made online, at: https://tinyurl.com/Kings-Vacancies
Closing date for Applications is 1 February 2023.
